I wish I had more time to update my blog. I’ve been working the 2009 Blue Ridge Parkway Tour and so much Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club stuff that posting here is hard to make time for.

I’ve done a few more mods, removed some decals and installed stripes for a few more MINI owners.

2nd Annual Bullfrog Run

In May of 2007 a member of our club lost his battle with lymphoma. He was a dear friend of mine and avid MINI (JUSTA) Cooper owner/racer. For those of you that didn’t know him, Rob was a great guy that joined the Tar Heel MINI Motoring Club a long time ago and has contributed a lot to it. Bullfrog was his screen name on our forum. He was member #13 out of over more than 1200 now!

In April of 2008 I dedicated an annual run that Rob used to take us on 2 or 3 times a year, now known as the Bullfrog Run. Last year we had 15 members out on this run and we all had a blast.

This weekend we will run State Hwy 66 once again and remember the fun times we had with Bullfrog on the 2nd Annual Bullfrog Run!

If you live near Winston-Salem and have a few hours on Sunday, please join us!

Nice weather to install stripes again

I have 2 fellow THMMC members coming over today to get some stripes done. The first set will be a JCW version down the side of his MINI. I came up with the concept and I think it’s going to turn out fantastic! The other member is getting black Bonnet and Boot stripes along with a custom side stripe.

The MINI is back and needs some TLC but it’s to damn cold!

After those latest mods, I was coming home from the Club Christmas Party and the dsc and ebrake lights came on and would not go off. I searched NAM for other owners having this issue and it seems the Steering Angle Sensor was the cause. Well long story short, my MINI has been in the shop since the 9th of December and they have replace 2 modules and uploaded new software to the control unit with no luck fixing the problem. I just want my MINI back and fixed.
